We spent 1 night in LA, then flew almost 9 hours to Papeete, Tahiti where we stayed at the Intercontinental Beachcomber for one night.

The next day we took a ferry over to the island of Moorea
where we stayed 3 nights in a beach bungalow at the Intercontinental Beachcomber.
We rented a car a couple of the days and did some exploring.
Steph also got her first set of black pearls, which are harvested in Tahiti.
Pictures in Moorea From Moorea it was a short flight to the island of Raiatea, and from there it was another 40 minute boat ride to the Pearl Beach Resort on Tahaa. We stayed here for 3 nights in an 'over-the-water' bungalow. What a room!! This was our favorite island, and we did not do too much other then enjoy the great restaurants and the views from our bungalow. Pictures in Tahaa After taking the boat back to Raiatea, it was almost an hour flight to our last island of our trip - Bora Bora, where we stayed at the Pearl Beach Resort. We stayed here 3 nights as well is another 'over-the-water' bungalow. While here we took a submarine trip to see the sea life, and had a private charter trip for the day. The capt. took us snorkeling to 4 diffrent locations where we were able to feed the sharks and sting rays. We then had a lunch served in the water on a private beach. This was our best meal there! Unfortunately Steph got a little too much sun that day and we had to go to the doctors to get her some medicine. The trip home seemed to take forever... boat ride back to Bora Bora airport, then a flight to Papeete, then a flight to LA, then another back to Cleveland.
